Following fire, thousands of flowering grass trees rise across the heathlands of Far East Gippsland in one of Australia's most remarkable displays of renewal. Bathed in soft light, this limited edition fine art print celebrates nature's resilience while bringing warmth, tranquillity and a lasting connection to the wild into contemporary interiors.
Fire is often seen only as destruction, yet many Australian plants have evolved with it for millions of years. Grass trees are among the most iconic examples, sending up spectacular flowering spikes after fire that provide abundant nectar for insects, birds and other wildlife. This fleeting display, photographed on Old Coast Road between Cape Conran and Bemm River, is a reminder that renewal often begins where the landscape appears most changed.
